Description/History:Card is heart shaped with a gold border and 4 hearts and two blue bows at the top. A portion of the right border is missing. The cover illustration is a boy and girl dressed in blue in on a bench in front of a fire. Under the illustration is printed "Valentine Greetings". The inside inscription is "Tis you who make my heart beat, dear, So say you love me some, And make my heart go thump, thump, thump, Just like a big bass drum." Under the verse is a black and white cupid illustration. Handwritten on the back is "To Mary Johnson, From (illegible)". Printed on the back is "WhitneyMade, Worcester, Mass., and "AA" at the top. Card was given to Mary Ruth Johnson McShane (1909-2001) of Mt.Vernon Mo in grade school.
